8) FIRST 435 I, ALIZE (avec quille recevable), 1987, Charleston (USA)

Lien FACEBOOK

Alizé is a true pedigree racer/cruiser from the finest era of yachting. She comes from the drawing board of the world’s most prolific designer, the revered
German Frers. She was built at the Beneteau’s Chantier Yard in France, to standards infinitely higher than even their most premium modern offerings.
Those who know these boats, and especially those who have had the opportunity to sail them, know that these are some of the fastest, strongest, and
finest yachts ever built. They sail like a dream in all conditions, with fingertip control & effortless speed that commands a smile whether in a mid-Atlantic
gale or an intra-island Caribbean cruise. Alize is no exception - she is a true testament to the quality of Beneteau’s 80’s yachts, never suffering from soft
spots, osmosis/blisters, warping/flexing, and still utilizing most of her original deck hardware. Simply put, these boats were built to last.
Alize has been meticulously maintained and refit thought her years of cruising the world. She has proven herself as a safe passage-maker, comfortable
live-aboard, lucrative charter boat, & competitive racer - all wrapped up into a timelessly beautiful design that still captures eyes and hearts in every
anchorage she visits. Individually, she is unique - one of only a handful of ‘owner’s edition 435’s that were made with twin stateroom/heads configuration,
larger cockpit, racing deck layout, tall mast, and centerboard-keel setup. She is offered in ‘turnkey’ status, ready to launch, sail, cruise, live, and race as
soon as she's in the water. The current owner is happy to spend time with the buyers covering current/future to-do lists and assisting with the transition in
anyway he can, to ensure that the boat is in good hands. He is also willing to sell the charter business if there is interest, don’t hesitate to inquire further for
figures and projections.
Her current owner is a professional super yacht captain, and has looked after her since purchase in May 2014. He has put Alizé through the paces in every
sense - cruising, racing, and chartering her (captain/crewed charters only) in New England, South Carolina, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. She kept him
safe and comfortable through multiple short-handed offshore passages, and turned heads in the Caribbean (CSA) racing circuit in 2015. She is now back in
her homeport of Charleston, SC awaiting an eager new captain as her current one is (reluctantly) seeking employment aboard another superyacht.
Please review the specs, equipment list, and photos, and don’t hesitate to contact Charleston Yacht Sales to view this special vessel.

Single line reefing: 1st & 2nd mainsail reefing is done from the cockpit. Important for safety, because when it’s easier to reef, one tends to reef sooner and also no one needs to go on deck. Third reef is traditional slab type.
Electric deck winches: Original Lewmar 40 ST’s have been replaced with two Lewmar electric 40 ST. These are used on Starboard for: Main, first reef and two spare halyards, and on Port: Mainsheet, Vang, second reef, Staysail Halyard and Spinnaker halyard.

Owner comment: Priority on the upgrades has been toward safety and ease of sailing with the intent of sailing ocean route to the Bahamas with four family members. Our experience reinforced the several imperatives starting with a seaworthy hull and rig:
The ability to maintain SSB communication with our weather router
The navigation system for tracking fronts and anticipating squalls with radar.
Having a second (backup) chart plotter at the nav station enabling us to monitor status below while the on-deck crew was occupied.
The single line mainsail reefing system facilitated shortening sail at night and
The inner forestay arrangement which was used most of the passage south.

13) AISLINN, US$ 63,500 (EUR  56,319), Etats Unis, côte Est. (Juin 2015)

This is the two cabin version of the German Frers design.  The First 435 is made for fast passages.  This particular vessel has had over $70,000.00 in upgrades/improvements since 2008.  She is ready to go and with the solar panels and winder generator, she can be "off the grid".  Aislinn is in great shape and worthy of a viewing.

Check out her specifications, extras, and upgrades.  Aislinn was repowered with a Yanmar 4JH5E in 2011.  You will want to see this boat that is so fairly priced.

We value your time, so call to set up a time to view this fine vessel.
